Recently, the 45,000 Nm³/h hydrogen production project, a supporting facility of the 600,000 kW integrated wind and solar power-to-hydrogen project by Inner Mongolia Huadian Luanjingtan, has been filed for record.
According to the announcement, the construction site of the 45,000 Nm³/h hydrogen production project, a supporting facility of the 600,000 kW integrated wind and solar power-to-hydrogen project by Inner Mongolia Huadian Luanjingtan, is located in the Industrial Park of the Luanjingtan Demonstration Zone in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia. The total investment is 1.0155 billion yuan, and the project owner is Inner Mongolia Huadian Luanjingtan Green Energy Co., Ltd.
It is planned to build a new electrolytic water-based hydrogen production station with a hydrogen production capacity of 4.5×10⁴ Nm³/h (supported by the construction of a 220 kV hydrogen production substation), a hydrogen storage capacity of 2.4×10⁴ m³ (at 1.5 MPa), as well as supporting hydrogen refueling and hydrogen transmission pipeline facilities.
Construction is expected to commence in September 2024 and be completed in December 2025.
