Legacy Minerals has applied for an exploration licence for the Nico Young nickel-cobalt project in New South Wales, which contains around one million tonnes of nickel and 100,000 tonnes of cobalt. The project, previously held by Jervois Global, comes with no acquisition cost, liabilities, or royalties, and benefits from over $25 million in prior development work. Legacy views Nico Young as a significant long-term opportunity, complementing its existing gold, copper, and silver projects, and is currently seeking a partner to advance the project while preserving its value until market conditions improve.
