Green Hydrogen Project Tracking - Changchun Lvdong and CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Shortlisted as Pre-winners! SPIC Opens Bids for 100Nm³/h PEM Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production Equipment

On April 30, SPIC announced the shortlisted candidates for the 20th batch of centralized tenders in 2025 (PEM Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production Equipment for the Hydrogen Production and Energy Storage Project Supporting the Mianchuan Wind Power Project of Jiangxi Nuclear Power - Retender).

According to the announcement, the first shortlisted candidate is Changchun Ludong Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 5.88 million yuan.

The second shortlisted candidate is CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 6.667 million yuan.

According to the tender announcement, this project is a hydrogen production and energy storage project supporting the 100MW wind power project in Mianchuan, Pengze County, Jiangxi Province. It is planned to construct a hydrogen production station with a capacity of 100Nm³/h, including the pre-station area, auxiliary facilities area, power distribution area, hydrogen production area, compression area, filling area, etc. The hydrogen production station adopts the PEM electrolytic pure water hydrogen production technology route, fully utilizing the daily off-peak electricity period (0:00-6:00) to produce high-purity hydrogen products (with a purity of over 99.999%), with an annual hydrogen production utilization hours of 2000h. At this stage, the produced hydrogen is temporarily considered to be transported to the park and surrounding hydrogen-consuming areas via hydrogen tube trailers. The produced high-purity hydrogen can be used for various purposes such as hydrogen energy transportation, chemicals, and precision electronics.

For this tender, one set of 100Nm³/h PEM hydrogen production complete equipment is to be newly purchased. The complete equipment mainly consists of a hydrogen production system, a hydrogen purification system, necessary electrical and thermal control systems for the system, as well as hydrogen compression and filling system equipment, including but not limited to equipment manufacturing, transportation, loading and unloading, installation and commissioning guidance, training, acceptance, after-sales service, and other work specified by the bid inviter.

Construction period requirements: The tentative delivery date is before August 15, 2025.
