SMM Flash: High-Grade NPI Prices Decline on May 6

[SMM Flash News] As reported by SMM on May 6, the price range of SMM 10-12% high-grade NPI (ex-factory price) was 950-968 yuan/mtu, with the average price down 9.5 yuan/mtu from the previous working day, and at a premium of 5 yuan/mtu over SMM 8-10% high-grade NPI (ex-factory price). The price range of SMM 10-12% Indonesian high-grade NPI (CIF, tax included) was 950-969 yuan/mtu, with the average price down 9.5 yuan/mtu from the previous working day, and at a discount of 6 yuan/mtu to SMM 12-14% Indonesian high-grade NPI (CIF, tax included). The SMM high-grade NPI index was quoted at 961.58 yuan/mtu on the day, down 9.51 yuan/mtu from the previous working day, representing a 0.98% decline MoM from the previous working day. The SMM low-carbon high-grade NPI index was quoted at 969 yuan/mtu on the day, down 9.6 yuan/mtu from the previous working day.
