Recently, whether it is the iterative upgrade of intelligent driving technology or the release of the new national standard for power batteries, consumer expectations for NEVs have been continuously rising. Meanwhile, competition among automakers has become increasingly intense, with efforts focused on product layout and marketing channels to capture a larger market share.

On the first day of the Labour Day holiday, the car market continued to heat up, with several mainstream automakers announcing their April NEV delivery and sales figures. With impressive results, they made their voices heard in the market.

The CPCA recently stated that due to the boost from the "program of large-scale equipment upgrades and consumer goods trade-ins" policy, the market remained vibrant after the Chinese New Year. Local governments also introduced intensive consumption-boosting policies starting from late March. In the first half of April, the overall car market maintained the momentum of late March, with YoY steady growth. Preliminary estimates suggest that the total retail market size for narrow passenger vehicles this month is around 1.75 million units, up 14.4% YoY and down 9.8% MoM. NEV retail sales are expected to reach 900,000 units, with a penetration rate of 51.4%.
