Japanese Government Strongly Opposes US Tariff Policy

The Japanese government strongly opposes the US tariff policy and demands its repeal. Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio expressed regret over the US measure to impose a 25% tariff on key auto parts, and will continue to urge the US to re-examine the relevant tariff measures. Japan and the US have been negotiating tariff measures on products including automobiles, steel, and aluminum, but have yet to reach a consensus. Japanese Minister for Economic Revitalization Akazawa Ryo returned to Japan after the second round of US-Japan trade negotiations, and stated that Japan is concerned and will continue to strongly urge the US to repeal the tariffs imposed on automobiles, auto parts, steel, and aluminum, as well as the so-called "reciprocal tariff" policy.

Xinjiang Boyuan Aluminum Co., Ltd. is making every effort to advance the construction of its new-type aluminum semis project with an annual capacity of 150,000 mt. It is planned to build two standardized production workshops with a total floor area of 23,000 m².
