Guofu Hydrogen Energy and Hong Kong and China Gas Jointly Develop the Green Hydrogen Ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area

Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guofu Hydrogen") and The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Towngas") signed a strategic cooperation agreement on March 28. The two parties will collaborate deeply on green hydrogen supply, liquid hydrogen application, city gas blending with hydrogen, and green methanol production. Leveraging the multi-regional markets of Hong Kong and the mainland as a pivot, they will jointly explore the commercialization path of hydrogen energy, injecting new momentum into the implementation of Guofu Hydrogen's technology and its global layout.

This cooperation closely aligns with the national "dual carbon" strategy, highlighting Guofu Hydrogen's leading position in the field of hydrogen core equipment and green hydrogen supply. As a leading enterprise that has ranked first in the mainland's hydrogen refueling station equipment market share for five consecutive years, Guofu Hydrogen will explore multi-faceted cooperation with Towngas in the future, including providing internationally certified (ISO, ASTM, etc.) green hydrogen resources through its renewable energy hydrogen production base in Inner Mongolia. In the mainland market, the two parties aim to upgrade city gas blending with hydrogen technology. Guofu Hydrogen, with its customized green hydrogen distribution solutions, will collaborate with Towngas' city gas companies to establish hydrogen blending and usage scenarios, gradually expanding the application of hydrogen in city gas. Notably, the two parties will actively explore the use of green hydrogen resources in Inner Mongolia to promote the development of green methanol capacity, further extending the application of hydrogen energy across different value chains. Guofu Hydrogen (Hong Kong) Development Co., Ltd., as the core execution entity, will rely on Hong Kong's international platform to coordinate liquid hydrogen technology output and project implementation, accelerating the global layout of the industry chain.

For Guofu Hydrogen, this cooperation, on one hand, validates the applicability of the entire "production, storage, transportation, and application" technology chain in the Hong Kong and international markets through deep collaboration with a century-old energy giant in Hong Kong. On the other hand, it promotes the accumulation of multi-scenario commercialization experience in hydrogen energy, providing a benchmark case for Guofu Hydrogen to expand its domestic and overseas markets. In the future, the two parties will refine the implementation plan through feasibility studies, continuously unleashing the carbon reduction potential of hydrogen energy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the mainland, leading the new ecosystem of energy transformation.
