On April 18, the integrated project for hydrogen production from wind power and green methanol synthesis in Huanan completed its filing.
According to the announcement, the integrated project for hydrogen production from wind power and green methanol synthesis in Huanan is expected to have a total planned construction capacity of 500,000 mt/year of green methanol, to be built in two phases. The current phase includes the construction of centralized new energy facilities, water electrolysis units, and chemical synthesis, comprising 750 MW of new energy power generation (off-grid portion) and a 250,000 mt/year green methanol synthesis unit. Simultaneously, a 250 MW grid-connected wind power project will be constructed.
The total investment in the project is 5,987,189,700 yuan, and the legal entity of the project is Heilongjiang Yuehua Energy Investment Co., Ltd.
