On April 21, the Ministry of Finance issued the "Notice on the Allocation of the 2025 Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Subsidy Budget (First Batch)."
The notice stated that the allocated funds would be used for the settlement of NEV promotion and application subsidies for 2022 and previous years, the advance allocation of NEV promotion subsidies for 2022, the disbursement of the third-year reward funds for fuel cell vehicle demonstration applications, and the advance allocation of the 2025 county-level charging and battery swapping facility improvement pilot reward funds.
According to the summary table of the 2025 Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Subsidy (First Batch), the total subsidy exceeded 13.5 billion yuan. Among them, the fuel cell vehicle demonstration application, as a key supported area, received 2.3428 billion yuan in third-year reward funds.
Based on the summary table of the third-year reward funds for fuel cell vehicle demonstration applications, the involved regions included 10 cities: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Henan, and Ningxia.
