According to the April 18th quotation, the price for Indonesia's domestic laterite nickel ore (1.2% Ni, delivered price) is USD 24.7-25.5/wet metric ton, with an average price of USD 25.1/wet ton. The price for Indonesia's domestic laterite nickel ore (1.3% Ni, delivered price) is USD 25.5-26.5/wet ton, with an average price of USD 26/wet ton. The price for Indonesia's domestic laterite nickel ore (1.4% Ni, delivered price) is USD 39.5-41.5/wet ton, with an average price of USD 40.5/wet ton. Indonesia’s newly implemented PNBP royalty policy is tentatively set to take effect on the 26th, which will directly increase the sales cost of nickel ore. Market feedback indicates that the resulting rise in the purchase price of hydrometallurgical nickel ore had already been reflected in early April. During the transition period before the new policy takes effect on April 26, mining and smelting companies are negotiating cost-sharing plans for the additional 4% cost.
