According to the latest data from China Customs, China's total nickel sulphate imports in March 2025 reached 4,044 mt (metal content), up 12% MoM and 5% YoY. China's nickel sulphate exports were 87 mt (metal content), down 33% MoM and 61% YoY. China's net nickel sulphate imports in March 2025 were 3,957 mt (metal content), up 14% MoM and 9% YoY. The increase in exports this month was mainly driven by countries such as South Korea and Singapore, while the increase in imports was primarily from Japan, South Korea, Belgium, and Finland. The net import volume of nickel salts increased this month, which was largely in line with expectations from the previous month.
