India is studying a 20% safeguard duty on steel. The global steel trade conflict may intensify. According to reports from Indian media, as the US imposed a 125% tariff on Chinese imports, India, the world's second-largest steel producer, is also considering a 20% safeguard duty on steel imports to counter the threat of dumping.
