Brazil issued an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping determination on galvanized and galvalume steel coils originating from China, recommending not to impose duties. On April 3, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil released Announcement No. 23 of 2025, making an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping determination on galvanized and galvalume steel coils originating from China. However, considering the need to further verify relevant data and analyze the impact of changes in China's export tax rebate policy, it was recommended not to impose provisional anti-dumping duties on the involved products from China. The investigation will continue, and the deadline for the final determination of this case will be extended to within 18 months from the date of initiation.
