On March 20-21, 2025, the kick-off meeting for the process package and engineering design of the Fude Jinyu Changxing Island 1,000 mt magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage material demonstration project was successfully held. Leaders, experts, and relevant personnel from Dalian Fude Jinyu New Energy Co., Ltd., the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
The two-day meeting included project introductions, discussions on process flow and process package design, research on second-generation process technology solutions and key reactor equipment development, and progress and planning discussions on the feasibility study report. This meeting marked the official entry of the project into the design phase, laying a solid foundation for subsequent project construction.
