According to the online query data from the General Administration of Customs, China's copper scrap imports in January stood at 189,200 mt, down more than 10% MoM from December last year but slightly higher than the same period last year. In February, copper scrap imports reached 193,400 mt, showing a slight rebound MoM but still lower than the end of last year. At the beginning of this year, the import profit/loss for copper scrap was inverted, and traders' enthusiasm for participating in import trade was not high.
