Chery's iCAR brand puts V23 Intelligent Driving Edition onto East China market

On March 22, Chery's young new energy vehicle brand iCAR officially released the Intelligent Driving Edition V23 SUV onto the East China market.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 22, Chery's young new energy vehicle brand iCAR officially released the Intelligent Driving Edition V23 SUV onto the East China market. As a significant model for the iCAR brand, the V23 Intelligent Driving Edition brings advancements in driving experience and intelligent technology.

It is available in three variants: the 401 two-wheel-drive (2WD) Intelligent Driving Edition, the 550 2WD Intelligent Driving Edition, and the 501 four-wheel-drive (4WD) Intelligent Driving Edition, priced at 119,800 yuan, 135,800 yuan, and 149,800 yuan, respectively.  

The iCAR V23 Intelligent Driving Edition is equipped with Chery's Falcon 500 intelligent driving system, featuring a Horizon Robotics' J3 + TDA4 dual-chip solution and 22 sensors, including an 8-megapixel front camera, four surround-view cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars. The system integrates 23 advanced driver assistance functions, covering highway cruising, precise parking, and urban safety scenarios.

Retaining its signature boxy design, the V23 Intelligent Driving Edition boasts a rugged aesthetic with a height of 1.84 meters and 21-inch wheels as standard for the 4WD version. The front-end features round headlights and a clamshell hood, reinforcing its retro appeal. It also offers a 43° approach angle, a 41° departure angle, and 210 mm of ground clearance.  

The model introduces a new yellow exterior color, enhancing its stylish and dynamic look. The rear adopts a side-opening tailgate with an external storage box in a "backpack" design, seamlessly connected to the cabin for added practicality.  

In terms of power, the V23 Intelligent Driving Edition comes with single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive options. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 100 kW and peak torque of 180 Nm, while the dual-motor version achieves a combined maximum power of 155 kW and peak torque of 292 Nm. The vehicle offers four CLTC-rated range options—301 km, 401 km, 501 km, and 550 km—depending on battery capacity.
