[SMM: Mixed Changes, Slight Decrease in Silicon Metal Social Inventory] According to SMM, the total national social inventory of silicon metal was 591,000 mt on March 21, a decrease of 3,000 mt WoW.

On March 21, SMM statistics showed that the total national social inventory of silicon metal was 5.91 million mt, a decrease of 30,000 mt WoW. The general social warehouse inventory was 1.35 million mt, a decrease of 40,000 mt WoW, and the social delivery warehouse inventory (including unregistered warrants and spot parts) was 4.56 million mt, an increase of 10,000 mt WoW.

[ Bharat Coking Coal Output Grows 2.8% in August ]

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) announced that its coking coal production increased by 2.8% year-on-year to 2.18 million tonnes in August 2026. Despite a sharp 65.9% drop in non-coking coal output, the core metallurgical segment drove total raw coal production to 2.21 million tonnes for the month. Opencast mining operations were the primary contributors to this volume, generating 2.19 million tonnes of the total yield.
