In January and February, the export pace of enamelled wire slowed due to the Chinese New Year holiday, leading to a significant decline in exports. However, compared with the same period last year, the export volume still achieved substantial growth, demonstrating the resilience of overseas demand for copper enamelled wire.

Specifically, from January to February 2024, China's copper enamelled wire exports covered 169 countries and regions. Among the top ten export destinations, the quantities shipped to the Philippines and Indonesia decreased by 31.83% and 46.41% YoY, respectively, while all other countries and regions showed an upward trend. Vietnam, Japan, and Thailand remained the top three, with export volumes of 2,998 mt, 2,785 mt, and 2,152 mt, respectively. Additionally, the increases in exports to Mexico, India, and South Korea were particularly notable, growing by 146.19%, 134.49%, and 95.79%, ranking 8th, 9th, and 4th, respectively, indicating that the potential of these markets is gradually being realized.
