On March 10, China Coal Ordos Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. announced the details of the candidates for the tender of alkaline electrolyzer complete equipment for the 100,000 mt Liquid Sunshine Project as follows:

I. Project Background

The 100,000 mt Liquid Sunshine Project of China Coal Ordos Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 4.9 billion yuan, with a supporting new energy capacity of 625,000 kW and a hydrogen production capacity of 21,000 mt/year. The project is located in Wushen Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It fully utilizes electricity generated from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power to produce green hydrogen through electrolysis. The purified and refined carbon dioxide from the tail gas of chemical installations is then converted with green hydrogen into methanol, achieving large-scale consumption of green electricity and green hydrogen as well as resource utilization of carbon dioxide.
