On February 27, 2025, Chengdu Andisen Measurement Co., Ltd. ("Andisen"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HQHP, signed a cooperation confirmation letter with Air Liquide Group ("Air Liquide") of France, officially launching the second phase of the R&D project for high-pressure hydrogen liquid-driven compressors. This cooperation is based on the collaborative model of "international R&D + Chinese intelligent manufacturing," with Air Liquide providing advanced technical solutions and Andisen responsible for industrialisation. This move marks a new accelerated phase in the collaboration between the two parties in the field of high-end hydrogen energy equipment.
The signing ceremony was attended by Song Fucai, President of HQHP; Jean-Marie Padovani, General Manager of Air Liquide's Global New Energy Business Unit; Chen Shaoyi, Chairman of Air Liquide HQHP; Tang Rui, General Manager of Andisen; Zhou Rong, General Manager of Air Liquide HQHP; and core members of the project team.
This cooperation focuses on core components of hydrogen energy. The first phase has already completed technical feasibility verification and overcome several key technologies. The second phase will focus on launching engineering prototypes that meet the demands of international markets.
Song Fucai, President of HQHP, reviewed and acknowledged the significant achievements of the collaboration between HQHP and Air Liquide, and extended his congratulations on the deepening partnership. He pointed out that the Chinese government is currently vigorously promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and hydrogen energy is expected to enter a period of rapid growth in the future. This cooperation represents a critical step in building a global hydrogen energy equipment ecosystem. He expressed his hope that this collaboration would serve as an opportunity for both parties to expand cooperation in more core hydrogen energy components such as pumps, nozzles, valves, and flow meters. He urged Andisen to intensify talent recruitment, advance international certification, and enhance the level of its specialised manufacturing platform, working with Air Liquide to create a competitive hydrogen energy brand that meets international market demands. Finally, he stated that HQHP will continue to focus on enhancing the core competitiveness of its products, optimising product quality, delivery timelines, and cost structures, providing strong support for the domestic and overseas market expansion of their joint venture, Air Liquide HQHP. He also expressed his hope that Air Liquide would fully leverage its technological advantages and engage in closer collaboration with HQHP in product R&D and international market expansion, jointly preparing for the robust growth of the hydrogen energy market.
Jean-Marie Padovani, General Manager of Air Liquide's Global New Energy Business Unit, extended warm congratulations on the second phase of cooperation and expressed strong confidence in the partnership between HQHP, its subsidiary Andisen, and Air Liquide. He noted that the hydrogen energy industry is expected to achieve exponential growth before 2030, and hydrogen compressors, as a critical link in the hydrogen energy industry chain, are of paramount importance. The collaboration between Air Liquide and Andisen is not merely about a single product or equipment but is also a vital part of Air Liquide's future hydrogen energy development strategy. He fully recognised Andisen's current industrial planning, technical capabilities, and manufacturing capacity, and looked forward to the two parties working together to successfully bring products to market and application, injecting new vitality and momentum into the flourishing development of the hydrogen energy industry.
