Green Project Tracking—POWERCHINA Hangjinqi Wind and Solar Power Hydrogen Production Integration Project

The Hangjinqi Wind and Solar Power Hydrogen Production Integrated Project by PowerChina has received approval from the autonomous region. The project, implemented by Hangjinqi Juyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., involves a total investment of approximately 1.122 billion yuan. Located in Duguitala Town, it covers an area of about 66 square kilometers and is expected to develop a new energy capacity of 200,000 kW (including 135,000 kW of wind power and 65,000 kW of PV). Supporting facilities include a hydrogen production station and hydrogen storage tanks with a capacity of 40,000 kW/40,000 kWh, occupying an area of approximately 200 mu. The project is expected to commence construction in July 2025 and begin operation in October 2026. Once completed and operational, it is expected to achieve an output value of 130 million yuan, generate 19 million yuan in profits and taxes, and create over 100 jobs. It will contribute to reducing carbon emissions, enhancing energy security, and improving the ecological environment.
