The model is set to hit the market and commence deliveries by the end of May.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 20, Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance held the MAEXTRO technology launch event, where Richard Yu, Chairman of the Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, announced that the company's independently developed Tuling Longxing Platform, Angel Constellation ("Tianshizuo" in Chinese pinyin) Active Safety Protection, and Huawei Xinghe Communication would debut on the MAEXTRO S800 luxury new energy vehicle model.

The model is set to hit the market and commence deliveries by the end of May.

The MAEXTRO S800, developed in collaboration with JAC Group, will feature the Tuling Longxing Platform, an independently developed intelligent digital chassis with an all-domain fusion architecture, integrating proactive sensing, central control, intelligent inference, and autonomous learning. Leveraging HUAWEI ADS smart driving technology, the system scans road conditions in advance, predicts skidding risks through a fused perception network, and optimizes torque distribution with four-wheel coordinated torque control and front-rear wheel steering, ensuring smooth handling in complex road conditions.

The model also introduces a spatiotemporal inference suspension, integrating intelligent inference into vehicle motion control. By building a road-space model through fused perception and AI-driven suspension adjustments, it achieves optimal comfort—minimizing body roll in turns, preventing front lift during acceleration, and reducing nose dive during braking. The system supports up to 16° crab walking and offers a leading 5.05-meter turning radius, enabling U-turns within two lanes.

Huawei also unveiled its autonomous intelligent safety protection system, which can detect hard-to-see vehicles in rain, fog, and dust, automatically braking to avoid collisions. It can recognize front and rear impact risks, executing emergency evasive steering, and autonomously avoiding obstacles at low speeds.

The Gemini Redundant Safety Architecture further enhances security by adjusting seat posture, tightening seat belts, rolling up windows, and unlocking doors before a collision, while switching to a backup power source, calling for rescue, and reporting emergency data post-collision.

The MAEXTRO S800 will debut Huawei's Xinghe intelligent in-vehicle communication system, featuring strong signal coverage and fast network recovery. The system actively switches networks for optimal connectivity, preloads maps based on predicted signal strength, and integrates a distributed vehicle-mounted satellite communication system that extends connectivity up to 30 meters beyond the car.

Additionally, the MAEXTRO S800 introduces the smart light language headlights, which integrate lighting, smart driving, and communication. The system enables precise light shielding, dynamic road guidance via adaptive light carpets, and real-time hazard warnings to pedestrians and rescue teams.

The vehicle's self-purifying cabin debuts with a dual-layer airflow circulation system and innovative adsorptive materials that autonomously detect and neutralize odors, bacteria, viruses, and harmful gases. A dual negative ion system simulates a forest-like environment for enhanced air quality.

Regarding battery technology, the MAEXTRO S800 will be the first to feature an 800V high-voltage range-extender battery pack with 6C ultra-fast charging, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. The battery-electric version of the S800 adopts a 5C high-energy-density battery pack, achieving a peak recharging efficiency of 1 km per second.
