Winning Bid Result Announced for the 500,000 kW PV Integrated Project for Desertification Control in Dalate Banner, Inner Mongolia] On February 5, the winning bid result for the EPC general contracting of the first phase of the 500,000 kW PV integrated project for desertification control by Inner Mongolia Energy Group in Dalate Banner was announced. The winning bidder is PowerChina Central South Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., with a winning bid price of 898.25 million yuan and a unit price of 1.792 yuan/W. (Polaris Solar PV Network)

On February 5, the winning bid result for the EPC general contracting project of the 500,000 kW PV integrated Phase I project for sand prevention and control in Dalate Banner, Inner Mongolia Energy Group, was announced. The winning company is PowerChina Central South Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., with a winning bid price of 898.25 million yuan and a unit price of 1.792 yuan/W.

According to the bidding announcement, the construction capacity of the 500,000 kW PV integrated Phase I project for sand prevention and control in Dalate Banner, Inner Mongolia Energy Group, is 500,000 kW for this phase, with a long-term planned capacity of 500,000 kW. The total installed capacity on the DC side of the project is 501.26752 MW. The contractor is responsible for the procurement and transportation of all required inverters, box transformers, brackets, bracket foundations, fences, grounding, 220 kV booster stations, grid-related equipment, PV ESS information system remote terminals, and their supporting facilities and materials (including auxiliary materials). The contractor is also responsible for unloading, secondary handling, on-site transportation, storage, management, purchase, customs clearance, and handover of all equipment (including those provided by the client) and materials for this bidding project.

Project schedule requirements: Construction of the PV plant area is expected to start on January 1, 2025, and full-capacity grid connection is expected to be completed by September 15, 2025.
