[SMM Survey: Operating Rates of Leading Secondary Aluminum Alloy Enterprises Dropped Sharply This Week Due to the Chinese New Year Holiday] This week, the operating rate of leading secondary aluminum enterprises dropped sharply by 12.5 percentage points WoW to 40.6%. This week marks the last week before the holiday, with most enterprises starting their holiday break after Monday. Leading enterprises concentrated their production shutdowns from January 24-27, and most are expected to resume operations around February 5, the eighth day of the Lunar New Year. The overall furnace shutdown duration for sample enterprises ranged from 4 to 12 days. Affected by the Chinese New Year holiday, the operating rate of the secondary aluminum industry is expected to weaken significantly next week.
