On December 25, SMM battery-grade nickel sulphate index price was 26,373 yuan/mt, and battery-grade nickel sulphate prices were 26,000-26,920 yuan/mt, with the average price rising slightly compared to the previous day.
Cost side, LME nickel rebounded slightly today to $15,465/mt, with cost support strengthening slightly. Demand side, this week marked the traditional peak for nickel salt procurement, with some inquiries appearing in the market. However, overall, the nickel salt market remained inactive. Supply side, salt plants continued to stand firm on quotes. Overall, with both buyers and sellers showing weak demand, nickel sulphate prices are expected to remain stable.
