DLP Resources Inc. announced the drilling results of hole A24-022 from its Aurora porphyry copper-molybdenum-silver project in southern Peru.
Hole A24-022 is located approximately 426 meters southeast of hole A24-021 and was designed to verify the southeastward extension of the orebody.
The hole intersected ore from the surface, with a copper equivalent grade of 0.37%, and reached a final depth of 1,007.5 meters. Among these, mineralization was encountered from a depth of 591 meters over a length of 256 meters, with a copper equivalent grade of 0.68%.
The specific drilling details are as follows:
From the surface to a depth of 47.2 meters: mineralized quartz monzonite porphyry.
47.2-76 meters: mineralized intrusive breccia.
76-187.7 meters: mineralized hornfels and quartz monzonite porphyry.
187.7-305.95 meters: mineralized quartz monzonite-mica porphyry and mineralized hornfels.
305.95-361.55 meters: mineralized quartz monzonite-mica porphyry.
361.55-469.35 meters: mineralized hornfels.
469.35-667.4 meters: mineralized hornfels with minor quartz monzonite-mica porphyry.
667.4-1,007.5 meters: mineralized quartz monzonite-mica porphyry.
