Sonnedix has raised 3.25 billion euros through two refinancing transactions. The first transaction, provided by Spain's CaixaBank, amounted to 750 million euros and was used to refinance Sonnedix's 197 MW regulated asset portfolio in Spain.

The second transaction, handled by 15 commercial lenders and institutional investors, amounted to 2.5 billion euros, covering a 1.1 GW renewable energy asset portfolio across Spain, Italy, and France, with the potential to expand to include new assets in Europe and the UK.

The company stated that these transactions represent the largest and most innovative refinancing initiatives in its history, which will help drive the rapid growth of its projects, including hybrid projects and energy storage facilities.
