SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 76,544 yuan/mt, up 165 yuan/mt from the previous working day; battery-grade lithium carbonate was 75,300-78,000 yuan/mt, with an average price of 76,650 yuan/mt, up 150 yuan/mt from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate was 72,900-73,900 yuan/mt, with an average price of 73,400 yuan/mt, up 150 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Boosted by favourable macro sentiment, some traders' purchase willingness has strengthened, slightly raising the market transaction price center. Downstream material plants remain cautious in their purchasing sentiment, resulting in sparse transactions. Considering the narrowing monthly destocking of lithium carbonate and the cumulative inventory levels, it is expected that lithium carbonate spot prices will have a slight downside room.
