Qingtao Energy Launches Phase II of Half-Solid State Battery Production Line Project

[Qingtao Energy Half-Solid State Battery Production Line Project Phase II Launched] On November 28, the launch ceremony for the Qingtao Solid-State Battery Southwest Industrial Base Project was held. The project, invested and constructed by Qingtao Energy, is expected to have a total investment of 10 billion yuan, building solid-state lithium battery cell production lines, module and PACK production lines, and a solid-state battery technology R&D center, with an annual capacity of 15 GWh. It will become the first half-solid state battery production line in Chengdu. The project is divided into two phases, with Phase I having completed production line construction and commenced operation in May 2023. The current project under construction is Phase II.
