According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, China exported 5,164.33 mt of SiMn alloy in October 2024, up 3.24% MoM.

According to the latest release from the General Administration of Customs, China exported 5,164.33 mt of SiMn alloy in October 2024, up 3.24% MoM. The cumulative export volume from January to October was 36,500 mt, down 17.64% YoY. In October 2024, China imported 3,299.08 mt of SiMn alloy, down 39.39% MoM. The cumulative import volume from January to October was 25,800 mt, up 162.86% YoY.

The increase in export volume in October is attributed to strong overseas demand amid the expectation of the peak season, leading to high purchasing enthusiasm for SiMn alloy among customers. The main export volume of SiMn alloy flowed to Indonesia, while the main import volume came from Kazakhstan.
