[An Ki-hyun, Executive Vice President of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association: This year, the semiconductor trade volume between China and South Korea is expected to grow to approximately $68.8 billion]

SMM, November 19th - At the opening ceremony of the 21st China International Semiconductor Expo, An Ki-hyun, Executive Vice President of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, stated that this year, the semiconductor trade volume between China and South Korea is expected to further grow to approximately $68.8 billion. He also mentioned that due to many complex factors, the semiconductor manufacturing supply chain, which involves the participation of multiple countries, is becoming increasingly unstable. Semiconductors are a crucial component of electronic products, and if the technological demands cannot be met or the supply chain cannot remain stable, the reputation of the semiconductor industry as the solid foundation of electronic products will be severely damaged. Therefore, to avoid this situation, more mutual cooperation among countries is needed.
