According to the latest data from China Customs, in September 2024, China's total import volume of nickel sulphate was 4,769 mt (Ni contained), down 5% MoM and up 50% YoY. China's export volume of nickel sulphate was 733 mt (metal content), up 64% MoM and 531% YoY. In September 2024, China's net import volume of nickel sulphate was 4,036 mt (metal content), down 12% MoM and up 32% YoY. The reduction in imports in September was mainly from South Africa and Indonesia, while imports from Finland resumed. The net import volume of nickel salt continued to decrease, which was basically in line with expectations in August.
