BAIC Group's complete vehicle sales rise 5.67% YoY in Oct. 2024

On November 5, BAIC Group announced its latest sales figures, reporting a total of 144,100 vehicles sold in October 2024, marking a 5.67% year-on-year growth.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 5, BAIC Group announced its latest sales figures, reporting a total of 144,100 vehicles sold in October 2024, marking a 5.67% year-on-year growth.

In terms of performance of the group's individual sectors, the premium electric vehicle brand, ARCFOX, led with notable momentum, with sales reaching 11,122 vehicles in October. For the first ten months of 2024, ARCFOX's cumulative sales amounted to 57,863 vehicles, representing a substantial 218.6% year-on-year soar.

BAIC Motor achieved sales of 23,020 vehicles in October, reflecting a 120% year-on-year surge. Notably, its overseas market sales surpassed 10,000 units for the first time in a single month.

Foton Motor, a commercial vehicle subsidiary of BAIC Group, also posted robust performance, with 56,000 vehicles sold in October, reflecting increases from both the previous month and the previous year. In addition, BAIC's heavy-duty truck division also saw year-on-year and month-on-month growth in October sales. The automaker recently delivered 100 next-generation digitalized heavy-duty trucks to Mexico.

Meanwhile, BAIC Group's Sino-Korean joint venture, Beijing Hyundai, recorded sales of 14,000 vehicles in October.
