Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, JAC Group held a shipment ceremony for 100 electric light-duty trucks at its Xingang facility, marking a significant milestone in its strategic expansion into Mexico's electric vehicle market.

This partnership with a major Mexican client underscores JAC Group's focus on local market integration and its customer-centric approach in the region.

As the world's seventh-largest vehicle production hub and the thirteenth-largest automotive market, Mexico has attracted major automakers worldwide. Since entering the market in 2012, JAC Group has established a robust operational structure in Mexico, integrating manufacturing, sales, and service to create a streamlined market solution.

Overseas market expansion has always been a strategic focus for JAC Group. At the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 in Hannover, Germany, the Chinese automaker unveiled its Europe Strategy under the theme "For Greener Cities, NOW." The strategy emphasizes localization across product offerings, marketing, and service to meet European standards for sustainable urban logistics. JAC Group’s approach aims to create a comprehensive "last-mile" green logistics network by collaborating with energy providers, logistics operators, and financial institutions to support low-emission transport solutions in urban areas.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
