Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 29, Xiaomi introduced the mass-produced version of its high-performance electric vehicle, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, with the pre-sale price of 814,900 yuan announced at the same time.
Pre-orders for the model opened at 10:30 p.m. on the same day, and within 10 minutes, reservations exceeded 3,680 units. The vehicle is expected to be officially released in March 2025.
Xiaomi's Chairman and CEO, Lei Jun, described the SU7 Ultra as the top-tier model of the SU7 series, designed as a road-legal four-door sports car with ambitions to be the fastest production four-door vehicle globally.
Equipped with Xiaomi's proprietary super three-motor system delivering 1,548 horsepower, the SU7 Ultra accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, with a designed top speed of 350 km/h. The system incorporates two HyperEngine V8s E-motors and one HyperEngine V6s E-motor, marking the debut of Xiaomi's self-developed HyperEngine V8s E-motor capable of reaching 27,200 rpm.
To optimize performance, the car integrates extensive carbon fiber throughout, including on the roof and steering wheel, covering a total area of 3.74 square meters. Additionally, it features a 40W external speaker capable of simulating engine sounds.
The SU7 Ultra also boasts Xiaomi's high-performance, track-oriented battery pack with CATL's latest Qilin II cells, enabling the vehicle to charge from 10%-80% in 11 minutes. The SU7 Ultra features a CLTC-rated range of 630 km.
