Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 24, VOYAH, the premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand under Dongfeng Motor, announced its foray into Slovenia, and showcased the VOYAH FREE and VOYAH COURAGE models at the same time.

Slovenia, a European Union member in south-central Europe, has shown strong support for sustainable development and the transition to NEVs, with a rising NEV adoption rate. Slovenia now serves as another strategic hub for VOYAH’s European expansion, aiming to establish localized sales and services, with plans to extend further into the continent. Through this effort, VOYAH intends not only to establish itself as a pioneer among China’s premium smart NEVs in global markets but also to contribute actively to China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

Currently, VOYAH has established a presence in Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Spain. The brand’s “Let’s VOYAH” strategy, introduced in April, focuses on enhancing its global influence and competitive edge.

VOYAH is also showcasing its COURAGE and other vehicle models at the Tashkent International Auto Show 2024 in Uzbekistan from October 23 to 25, as it seeks to meet diverse needs among global users with more competitive, localized NEV offerings. This expansion underscores VOYAH’s commitment to establishing a lasting presence in global markets.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
