RoboSense secures new contracts for LiDAR supply from GAC AION

On October 12, LiDAR solution provider RoboSense and GAC Group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) arm GAC AION announced a strategic partnership, further strengthening their collaboration.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 12, LiDAR solution provider RoboSense and GAC Group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) arm GAC AION announced a strategic partnership, further strengthening their collaboration. RoboSense has secured new contracts for several GAC AION NEV models, reaffirming its role as a preferred partner for LiDAR solutions.

RoboSense, leveraging LiDAR technology and mass production capabilities, will provide cutting-edge LiDAR products and solutions for GAC AION’s upcoming electric vehicle platforms and models. The partners aim to enhance the safety of intelligent driving systems and explore innovative possibilities in advanced smart driving technologies.

RoboSense began collaborating with GAC AION in 2021. This partnership has contributed to the launch and delivery of several intelligent models under GAC AION.

Recently, the second-generation AION V, a product of the collaboration between the two parties, along with the newly unveiled A+-segment intelligent driving sedan AION RT, have both launched advanced intelligent driving versions featuring LiDAR. At this critical stage of rapid autonomous driving adoption, these models , in the 150,000 yuan-200,000 yuan price range, further promote the popularization of advanced intelligent driving.
