Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 11, BWI Group and KINGWAY Technology, a subsidiary of Geely Auto focused on intelligent chassis control, signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to a post on BWI Group's WeChat account. 

The partnership will encompass a range of BWI Group's chassis-by-wire products, with both companies leveraging their respective strengths to focus on innovation in multiple areas of intelligent chassis technology and its practical applications. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of both domestic and international markets.          

KINGWAY Technology, an innovative company incubated by Geely, specializes in developing and producing intelligent chassis control software, hardware, and architecture solutions, particularly in the areas of steer–by-wire and electric power steering, key components for modern vehicles.

BWI Group, a supplier of automotive suspension and brake systems, is focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of suspension and braking technologies.

As intelligent driving technology rapidly advances, China's automotive sector has entered a new phase of electrification and smart technologies. Intelligent chassis products are key to achieving vehicle automation, forming an essential part of advanced autonomous driving systems.

According to a statement from BWI Group, the new long-term strategic collaboration will capitalize on both companies' extensive industry experience and market resources. By offering integrated intelligent chassis control solutions, combining software and hardware, the partnership aims to meet the evolving needs of the modern automotive industry, create significant market opportunities, and deliver win-win outcomes for both companies and their customers.
