NavInfo, BOE Varitronix form cooperation in smart cockpit, mobility solution fields

On October 11, NavInfo and BOE Varitronix Limited (BOE Varitronix) announced a strategic partnership under which the duo aims to accelerate advancements in automotive intelligence and smart mobility.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 11, NavInfo and BOE Varitronix Limited (BOE Varitronix) announced a strategic partnership under which the duo aims to accelerate advancements in automotive intelligence and smart mobility through joint efforts in manufacturing, smart cockpits, intelligent terminals, innovative business, and smart government-enterprise solutions.

According to the agreement, in the smart cockpit domain, the two companies will collaborate on developing in-car display and cockpit application solutions, leveraging BOE Varitronix’s terminal products with NavInfo’s highly reliable smart cockpit SoC chips, automotive-grade MCUs, and high-precision positioning systems.

Additionally, the partnership will combine NavInfo’s expertise across driving, cockpit, cloud, and chip technologies, alongside BOE Varitronix’s presence in smart vehicles, two-wheelers, and broader industrial applications. This collaboration will focus on forward-looking product and technology research, driving technical and product innovation.

The two companies will also explore opportunities in smart cities, greater transportation, and industrial sectors. By combining BOE Varitronix’s resources in these areas with NavInfo’s integrated solutions, including vehicle-road-cloud integration and digital twin technology, the partnership aims to deliver innovative solutions and expand into new markets.
