Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 30, AICC (Automotive Intelligence and Control of China Co., Ltd.), a developer of intelligent connected vehicle (ICV) computing platforms, announced it has secured a equity financing worth several hundreds of millions of yuan from the Beijing Information Industry Development Fund.

The proceeds will be used to accelerated the mass production and deployment of AICC’s computing platforms.

Founded in 2020, AICC is a high-tech company backed by industry leaders, market capital, and government funding. It focuses on developing and commercializing foundational computing platforms for ICVs. The company has pioneered a new modular development model that decouples hardware, operating systems, and application software, enabling automakers to efficiently develop and customize their systems for ICVs, lowering costs and complexity.

AICC’s proprietary computing platform integrates hardware and software for ADAS and autonomous driving (L0-L4) applications. It consists of an ICV operating system, graphical development tools, and computing hardware, supporting seamless integration and customization for automakers. The platform helps solve technical challenges across the design, integration, and real-world testing stages, advancing the practical use of autonomous driving.

The Beijing Information Industry Development Fund, with a capital pool of 10 billion yuan, will continue to collaborate with AICC to drive innovation in the ICV sector and promote the integration of vehicles, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
