ZEEKR announces foray into Norwegian market

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On the evening of October 9, ZEEKR announced its official entry into the Norwegian market, with the ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR X models available for pre-order this month. The first deliveries to Norwegian customers are expected to begin by the end of 2024.

The ZEEKR 001 features a starting price of NOK 579,900 (approximately RMB 387,000), while the ZEEKR X starts at NOK 424,900 (around RMB 283,000). ZEEKR noted that Norway, with over 80% of its new car sales in 2023 being fully electric, is one of the most advanced markets for electric vehicles globally. The company's entry into Norway marks a key milestone in its global expansion. To support its operations, ZEEKR will partner with local dealerships to establish a nationwide sales and service network.

On the same day, it was reported that ZEEKR has also officially entered the Colombian market, with plans to introduce the ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR X as its first models. Additionally, ZEEKR is investing in charging infrastructure and technology development in Colombia to ensure a premium user experience. Local expansion will be facilitated by Astara, a Colombian distributor representing 12 international car brands, which will provide digital marketing and distribution services for ZEEKR.
