Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 4, BYD, the world's leading new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, held a brand launch event at the Dushanbe Expo Center, marking its official entry into Tajikistan's passenger vehicle market.

During the event, BYD unveiled the SONG PRO DM-i CHAMPION in Tajikistan for the first time. As a family-oriented SUV, the vehicle is designed for both short trips and long-distance drives, featuring fast-charging technology, advanced safety configurations, and smart driving capabilities. Another highlight was the CHAZOR CHAMPION, equipped with BYD's DM-i Super Hybrid technology, offering both fuel efficiency and an enhanced driving experience. Additionally, BYD introduced the five-seater SONG PLUS EV CHAMPION SUV and the compact electric hatchback e2.

Ivan Cao, Deputy General Director of BYD Central Asia LLC, comments, "The automotive industry in Central Asia is experiencing rapid growth, with a promising market outlook. On September 25, BYD rolled off its 9 millionth NEV, the world's first automaker to hit the milestone. As of September 2024, BYD’s NEVs have reached 95 countries and regions worldwide.
