Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 29, 2024, the Global Intelligent Vehicle Summit (GIV2024) kicked off in Hefei, Anhui Province, where autonomous driving tech firm Momenta launched its first mass-produced intelligent driving large model.

This innovative solution integrates perception and planning into a single large model, forming an end-to-end, deep-learning-based autonomous driving system. By fully harnessing the potential of AI, the model addresses long-tail challenges in autonomous driving, offering enhanced safety and convenience for users in complex and extreme driving conditions.

Momenta CEO Cao Xudong emphasized the importance of advancing in this competitive field: "Autonomous driving is a vast industry with tremendous opportunities. Only companies that can keep pace with the 'Moore's Law' of intelligent driving will survive. Our new intelligent driving large model delivers a leap in product experience, truly exceeding this benchmark."

The Momenta intelligent driving large model is designed to handle various complex driving environments, accurately predicting the intentions of vehicles and pedestrians, adjusting speed, changing lanes, and avoiding obstacles with ease. It excels in challenging scenarios such as crossing dynamic intersections and parking in narrow night-time parking spots, significantly reducing driver workload. Currently, this advanced technology has already been deployed in mass-production projects by several automakers, further enhancing driving safety and efficiency.
