[SMM Data: LiPF6 Operating Rate in August] In August 2024, the operating rate of LiPF6 was approximately 59.1%. The operating rate is expected to continue to rise in September.

In August, the overall operating rate of LiPF6 was approximately 59.1%, an increase of about 12 percentage points compared to July. The demand growth rate in the end-user market increased in August, leading to a rise in overall demand, which subsequently improved the operating rate of LiPF6 factories. Looking ahead to September, it is expected that end-user demand may continue to rise, driving the continuous growth in the demand for LiPF6, with the operating rate in September anticipated to reach around 69.6%.

In January, national passenger car producers' new energy wholesale estimates reached 900,000 units, up 1% YoY.
