Polysilicon prices were largely stable

This week, the mainstream transaction prices for P-type dense polysilicon were 35-38 yuan/kg, and the transaction prices for N-type polysilicon were 39-43 yuan/kg. Polysilicon prices remained stable this week. The concentrated signing period for polysilicon in September has not yet arrived, and most leading polysilicon manufacturers have not released a new round of polysilicon quotations. At the beginning of the week, power rationing in Leshan attracted market attention, with upstream and downstream stakeholders concerned about whether Tongwei's Leshan capacity would be shut down. According to SMM, the production line in Leshan was somewhat affected this week. Actual polysilicon production in China in August fell to 128,000 mt. However, whether production will be halted in September and October is still uncertain.
