On August 9, Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) NETA Auto officially unveiled its Hong Kong R&D Center, marking a significant milestone in the company's global strategy.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 9, Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) NETA Auto officially unveiled its Hong Kong R&D Center, marking a significant milestone in the company's global strategy.

NETA Auto announced that the Hong Kong R&D Center will bring together top-tier talents from around the world to focus on core technologies for NEVs. The center aims to drive innovation and breakthroughs in smart technology, including intelligent driving systems for the global market, multi-language natural language processing, intelligent imaging, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, AI large models, in-car supercomputing platforms, and smart connected ecosystem applications and services.

Leveraging Hong Kong's sophisticated financial system and extensive international networks, NETA Auto plans to work closely with partners across the entire industry chain to advance the development of global intelligent vehicle ecosystem.

The company emphasized that the Hong Kong R&D Center is not just a technological hub but also a strategic gateway for its international expansion. It will play a crucial role in attracting and integrating cutting-edge automotive technologies, furthering the company's global ambitions.

From the opening of stores to securing government support and now the establishment of the R&D center, Hong Kong has become a vital component of NETA Auto's global footprint.
