[SMM Daily Trading Volume of Hot-rolled Coils] On August 9, the total daily trading volume of hot-rolled coils from sample enterprises in the three cities covered by SMM (Shanghai, Lecong, Tianjin) amounted to 14,290 tonnes, up 3,640 tonnes or 34.2% from the previous day. After a rebound in futures prices, they retreated, prompting traders to offer goods at lower prices, thereby warming up the market trading atmosphere. Overall, the trading of hot-rolled coils was moderate.
