[SMM Iron Ore Import Volume Analysis: Import Volume Increased by 10% Year-on-Year in July, with Expected Decline in August] According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported 102.813 million tons of iron ore and its concentrates in July, a decrease of 4.42 million tons from the previous month, or a monthly increase of 5.3%; and a year-on-year increase of 10%. From January to July, the cumulative import volume of iron ore and its concentrates reached 713.774 million tons, up 6.7% year-on-year. It is estimated that the import volume of iron ore will decline on a month-on-month basis in August...
