[SMM Daily Transaction Volume of Hot-rolled Coils] On August 6, the total daily transaction volume of hot-rolled coils at the sample enterprises in SMM's three cities (Shanghai, Lecong, and Tianjin) reached 11,930 tonnes, with a daily decrease of 2,640 tonnes, or -18.1%.

The futures market fluctuated weakly, with a relatively sluggish trading atmosphere. The downstream basically purchased on an as-needed basis, with limited speculative demand, leading to weaker trading volumes of hot-rolled coils.
