[SMM Daily Transaction Volume of Hot-rolled Coils] On August 2, the total daily transaction volume of hot-rolled coils from sample enterprises in SMM's three cities (Shanghai, Lecong, and Tianjin) amounted to 11,960 tonnes, representing a daily increase of 2,020 tonnes or 20.3% compared to the previous day.

The futures market saw a slight upward trend in the afternoon, and the market trading atmosphere was decent. Downstream terminals purchased as needed, resulting in average transaction volumes of hot-rolled coils.
